Components of a Lead-Acid Forklift Battery
Electrodes:

electrochemical reactions.
Battery Cells:
- Each cell produces about 2 volts, and the battery is typically a
series of 6, 12, or more cells to achieve desired voltages like
24V, 36V, 48V, or 80V.
Container:
- A durable housing made of plastic or other resistant materials to
protect the internal components.
How It Works
- Discharging: During forklift operation, the battery discharges as a chemical
reaction converts lead dioxide and lead into lead sulfate,
producing electrical energy.
- Charging: When recharged, the process is reversed, converting lead sulfate
back into lead dioxide and lead, restoring the battery's capacity.
